Explanation of the Colors in the Plots

A light yellow background means that SOHO is in its normal orientation.
A light blue background means that SOHO is rotated 180 degrees from its normal orientation.
A light orange background indicates that the proton monitor background rates are high, most likely from an energetic particle event.
A light purple background indicates that the proton monitor counting rates may be too low to produce reliable results.
Shocks are indicated by vertical lines
