Ulysses Trajectory Plots:

Plot 1: Ulysses Mission Profile from Ulysses Encounter Update, ESA Orbit Attitude Division, OAD-MIS-3b
Plots 2&3: Ulysses s/c position given as a function of solar longitude and heliocentric range. For longitudes between 90 and 270 degrees (shaded in these plots) Ulysses and the Earth are viewing opposite sides of the solar disk.
Plot 2 represents the inecliptic phase of the primary mission (Oct 1990 - Feb 1992) while
Plot 3 depicts the out-of-ecliptic phase (Feb 1992 - Oct 1995).
